Father William Most, God rest his soul, was brilliant–and so was his Latin pedagogy! As a teacher of Latin, student knowledge of vocabulary was paramount to him. As he wrote in his Teacher’s Manual, if Latin students must be weak in anything, that thing must not be vocabulary. Extra care and attention should be given to learning those vocabulary words, so he describes a loose-leaf notebook or binder for students to record their new words in. Based upon his description (see first page of the printable!) here are some printable pages for the Latin vocabulary notebook to accompany the textbook. I hope they are helpful for all those beginning their journey into Latin with Fr. Most’s excellent book–and as always, let me know what I can do to make them more useful and usable!

Gratias tibi ago, magestra, hoc opus.
